Following on from converting to DVD most of our footage is archived. Again this is an ongoing and painstaking process as the footage we receive increases year after year and the topics are of a wide variety. We have footage of the changing face of West Dumbarton and the surrounding district. Also we have footage of some of the more historical events in the area. Members are charged with the responsibility of producing a system that allows all of our footage to be accessible while archived safely for the use of our members

Archived footage is also available to be viewed on the clubs internet TV channel. The Club TV channel can be viewed at www.livestream.com/footagedumbarton/old
Clicking ON-DEMAND gives access to folders of films on Dumbarton, Vale of Leven, Loch Lomond and other areas.
Clicking on a folder opens it to show a list of films available.
Volume and image size can be controlled from bottom of the screen.
It is intended to increase the number of films available on a regular basis as these are collected, edited and converted by club members.
Viewers can comment on films through the CHAT facility.
