In teaching our members the process and intricacies of video editing, members who have a more comprehensive knowledge will spend time with those who are keen to learn and work with them at a pace that they are comfortable with. Homework will also be allocated, enthusiastically, to assist in the process of learning.

Not only are video editing techniques taught, interviewing techniques and compilation of a variety of other projects is also undertaken by our members.

Biopic filming is also undertaken and a one hour video of the life of Hannah Stirling of The Friends of Loch Lomond was compiled and shown to club members. This project was very successful and the subject requested several copies to present to her family and friends.

We have also received John Groome`s Cuilness Diary. This is his life from1964 and his exploits while living on the banks of Loch Lomond. There is almost 40 years of his life recorded in his diaries. Readers of his diaries will notice the artistry and imagery John has used in recording his life. Such is his talent that the reader can almost experience the natural elements of the loch side. John was a BT engineer who when he retired moved to Cuilness. He lived there for 18 years and kept a diary before moving to Gartocharn. This diary is a treasure of life in Cuilness and the values of the people of that era. This was a major project for our members and was completed successfully.
